I don’t think they are using the unpopularity of the government. It is only proper and morally right to run after the officials of the government, including President Arroyo for the sake of transparency and accountability.

Malacañang knows that it can no longer defend its haphazard and whimsical declaration thus the lifting of martial law. Mrs. Arroyo also cannot afford to face the international community especially in Copenhagen with martial law still in force. Congress might have to terminate its proceedings but the Supreme Court should determine the validity of the factual basis of the declaration to ensure that the unconstitutional declaration does not become a precedent!

The country’s education sector will always be hounded by lack of classrooms despite government’s continued funding for the construction of new school buildings if the population remains mismanaged. The decision of the Department of Education (DepEd) to cut school hours in overcrowded schools becomes imperative for Congress to pass the controversial reproductive health bill so that the country’s population can be managed for the betterment of education sector. We will be facing similar problems in the future and it will always be there if we would not take a decisive action in managing our population. We are growing so fast and the government can’t match up this in terms of public service.

The country’s education sector will always be hounded by lack of classrooms despite government’s continued funding for the construction of new school buildings if the population remains unchecked. We will be facing similar problems in the future and it will always be there if we would not take a decisive action in managing our population. We are growing so fast and the government can’t match up this in terms of public service. Congress must seriously pass the reproductive health bill so that we can genuinely give solution to the problem of widespread poverty.
