On the passage of Anti-Smuggling Act
Saturday, 20 February 2010
Anti-Smuggling Act passed on 3rd! It mandates the Bureau of Customs to instill transparency & accountability thru comprehensive audit of systems, controls & procedures. This will protect our local industries against unfair competition brought by fraudulently imported articles that are generally priced below our domestic market. It will foster greater economic activity, job preservation and creation.

On DOH's condom distribution
Saturday, 20 February 2010
Though I am not per se against distribution to prevent the spread of HIV, it must be emphasized that such is a palliative and non-sustainable measure! The issue is promiscuity & deteriorating values w/c our educational system & major religious institutions have failed to address. Furthermore, a corrupt government like this administration is doomed to fail to inculcate proper morals & values to our citizens.

On the Partylist System
Saturday, 20 February 2010
Well, we have yet to see real government support when it comes to information dissemination because groups like CIBAC partylist & other legitimates, are believed to trespass on old political party of patronage system but instead insist on advocacies like transparency & accountability that makes this particular administration edgy and uncomfortable (Quoted from an interview by DZBB).

ON FLOUR & ELECTRICITY PRICE HIKE
Saturday, 20 February 2010
We now wonder what PGMA means when she said she will turn-over this country to the next president stronger & will make this country a better place for investors! Does she know that high price of basic commodities do not make a strong nation? And high electricity cost drives away investors?! How now can we compel her to present us with data to explain to us these things when she killed our pet bill-the freedom of information act? Unbelievable!

On PGMA’s appointments
Saturday, 20 February 2010
The Constitution prohibits Arroyo from making the appointment. She is really emptying her cup as far as respect from the people is concerned. In her last few months, she continues to do things that divide the country, even taunting the Supreme Court which diminishes the credibility of the institution. She will truly go down in history as the divisiveness president" (QUOTED from MALAYA Feb.1, 2010)
