The Citizens’ Battle Against Corruption (CIBAC) Party List welcomes the decision of the Supreme Court sacking CA Justice Roxas and penalizing four other justices for the Meralco case fiasco. It is a testament to the SC’s resolve to rid the judiciary of hoodlums in robe. But mere dismissal is not enough. Disbarment proceedings and criminal cases for corruption and forfeiture should also be pursued. We must make sure that corruption is stomped our wherever and whenever it rears its ugly head.
