“President Aquino has the strong mandate to do what he can do according to the law.  Knowing President-elect Noy, he will not think twice if opening these books would be necessary and appropriate and most importantly if it will bring back economic confidence,” said [CIBAC party list Rep. THREE party-list lawmakers yesterday asked President-elect Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III to press the opening of books of oil companies, especially the so-called big Three, to determine if their price adjustments have been reasonable and have not been bleeding the public through price manipulation or cartelization.

Citizens Battle Against Corruption Rep.  Joel Villanueva, Bayan Muna Reps.  Neri Colmenares and Satur Ocampo said President-elect Aquino would do great service to the public if he would ask his legal team to prioritize working for the opening of the books of oil firms.
